I am an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law, with a cross appointment at the Department of Philosophy, at the University of Western Ontario.
My background in philosophical logic and the philosophy of language informs my interests in legal philosophy, as well as constitutional law, administrative law and property law. I am particularly interested in legal interpretation.
Before joining Western, I served as a law clerk at the Supreme Court of Canada and the Court of Appeal for Ontario. I completed my JD with Distinction at the University of Toronto and my DPhil, as well as my BPhil with Distinction, at the University of Oxford.
